This site is separate from UK Trade Jobs, House Price Derry, Blue Canvas client systems and other production databases. Phase 1 has no user account, authentication system, lead database or transactional email workflow.

Selector choices are closed categories such as purchase context, report requirement and access concern. They are used in your browser to select a deterministic result. Raw answer sets are not placed in the URL, cookies, local storage, session storage or a server database.

The printable specification contains optional checkboxes. Their state remains on the current page and is not submitted to us. Add any address, contact or property details only to the copy you choose to send directly to a contractor—not to this website.

The production design uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate audience and performance measurement. Vercel documents Web Analytics as privacy-focused and cookie-free; we still treat the final configuration, processors and live network payloads as matters to verify. Only these custom events and finite properties are permitted:

Event payloads must not contain a name, email address, telephone number, full postcode, property address, free text, raw answer array, URL query, report content or random user identifier. We do not ask for a region. Any coarse geography available from the analytics provider is reported only in grouped UK-nation or English-region cells, with small cells suppressed.

Like any hosted website, the delivery platform receives technical request information needed to return pages, protect the service and diagnose failures. That can include network and browser information. The site does not copy raw request data into a separate customer or selector database.

Production access, logs and reports are restricted to people operating the site. Operational reports use route status and aggregate evidence, not customer profiles.

Use the control below, reached from the Privacy choiceslink in the site footer, to disable optional analytics. The setting affects measurement only: the selector, guides, printable brief and contractor-directory link remain available. Production release checks must verify that disabled means no analytics request is sent.

Vercel Web Analytics does not set an analytics cookie in this design. If you turn measurement off, this site sets one purpose-only first-party cookie named dsc_analytics_opt_out for 180 days so it can remember that choice. It contains only the value 1. Turning measurement back on deletes it.

The final production configuration is reviewed against the ICO’s storage and access guidance. If an intended setup requires consent, it remains off until that consent exists. Read the ICO guidance (opens in a new tab).

Clicking a source or contractor-directory link takes you to a separate organisation with its own privacy practices. We record only the allowlisted outbound-click category, not what you do after leaving.

If you choose to email contact@bluecanvas.ai, your email provider and the receiving mailbox will process the sender address and message you provide. Use email only for editorial corrections or privacy questions. Do not include property details, a full postcode, telephone number, quote request or drainage report.

We do not sell or disclose selector answers to providers. Technical service providers process only the data needed to host, secure and measure the site under their applicable terms and configuration. We do not create a raw event export or customer profile in Phase 1.

Selector state ends with the browser session or reset. Editorial email is retained only as long as needed to assess and document the issue, subject to mailbox and legal requirements. Material changes to this notice receive a new review date.

Because the public site does not create customer accounts or lead records, we may need enough information to locate an editorial email or explain that no corresponding site record exists. Never send identity documents unless we specifically and lawfully explain why they are needed.
