Your quote-request edits and comparison entries stay in this browser tab. We do not receive them or save them in browser storage, cookies or the page address. Refreshing clears them. Copying puts the text on your device’s clipboard; printing uses your device’s print or PDF options. You decide whether to send the copied message to a contractor.

Optional statistics count actions such as copying a request or completing a comparison. They exclude contractor names, prices, messages and everything else you enter.

Your checklist answers are saved in session storage for this tab, so refreshing or switching to your email app does not lose them. Start again clears them; closing the tab normally clears session storage. Your browser may restore it if you restore a closed session. We do not receive the answers unless you choose to send an enquiry. They are not put in cookies, local storage, the page address or analytics. Printing does not send them to us.

We receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond. Email services process the message as part of its delivery. Please include only the information needed for your question.

Contact us at the same address to ask about a message you have sent or to request its deletion. We may need to retain information where there is a legal requirement.

Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request information to deliver and protect it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits, understand use of the checklist and check page speed. Your contact details, individual answers and anything typed into a form are excluded from these measurements.

You can turn optional measurement off below. The guides and checklist will still work. We remember an opt-out with the first-party cookie dsc_analytics_opt_out for 180 days; turning measurement on removes it.

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You may also object to certain uses. Email contact@bluecanvas.ai; we may ask for enough information to find the record and verify the request.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy notices.
